Once or twice a week, our drivers return from both Walmart locations with some product that Walmart won’t be selling, so we are able to pass it along to our clients in Burlington. We are appreciative of these corporate partners and many of them are a direct result of our association with Food Banks Canada and Feed Ontario. Robin mentioned that there are a number of exciting new developments happening in the Feed Ontario network with collaboration, including locally here in Halton that would have positive impact with Milton, Georgetown, Acton, Oakville as well our group of agencies here in Burlington. We all share the same goal – to better serve families and residents that need healthy food support in a safe manner, contactless and confidentially. We are a long-standing member of both Feed Ontario and Food Banks Canada. Together with food banks, industry partners, and local communities, we work together to end hunger and poverty by delivering fresh and healthy food, developing innovative programming, and driving change through research and advocacy.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help, PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you are a resident in Burlington, we are all here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
