Our Ladies League continues to support the Burlington Food bank at each of our banquets as we recognize the on-going need for food in Burlington. It is always our first choice as to who we will support through our food drive and 50/50 draw.

"We started this because it seemed like a simple thing to do for the two of us, and it makes a difference - walk our neighbourhood, hand out our flyers, come back and pick up donations with a wagon. Six years later, it’s still simple, we just have to follow with our car! What keeps us going is that our neighbours have made it theirs too. Everybody helps out, nobody needs convincing. Food insecurity isn’t somebody else’s problem happening somewhere else - it’s here, in Burlington. If a flyer drop-off and a Saturday afternoon can move nearly 1000 pounds of food, that’s worth doing every year."

St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Elementary School continues to support the Burlington Food Bank because we believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food and the dignity of knowing their community cares. We recognize the important role the Burlington Food Bank plays in supporting local families and individuals facing difficult times. Through our ongoing support, we hope to make a meaningful difference, strengthen our community, and live out our commitment to compassion, generosity, and helping those in need.
