Most businesses, stores and restaurants have received a recent notification about this week’s Halton inspection Blitz, we want you to know that we are ready at any time and are confident we will comply with all guidelines. We want to remind everyone to keep safe and watch out for one another even though the numbers seem to be getting better. We try everything possible to make sure food is secure as possible and our staff and volunteers are as safe as possible as well.

As part of Ontario’s expansion of its “Stay Safe All Day” workplace inspection campaign, Provincial offences officers will be visiting businesses and a variety of workplaces across Halton between Tuesday, February 2 and Friday, February 5. The primary focus of the blitz is to educate employers and staff on the latest guidance to prevent COVID-19 in the workplace and how to stay safe. Provincial offences officers will also be ready to issue tickets to businesses and patrons who are not in compliance with measures set out in the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act and the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.
