Once again we’d like to thank our Mayor Marianne Meed Ward and our City Councillors for the incredible job they’re doing for us all, protecting us and especially for advocating for us to be able to get outdoors. We need to be focusing on our mental health for family and friends. Its important to refocus, get back on the right foot, and move forward, looking out for one another. The Food Bank shares its concerns regarding food security with the group. We had a slow-down (of donations) during the Easter break so if you’re out and about please try to remember to drop off a food donation at the grocery store or at a local firehall. Thank you to everyone that has been able to make donations and to the Rotary North’s 99 Missions challenge that included a quick food drive as one of its challenges this weekend.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you are a resident in Burlington, we are all here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
