Our Food Bank Gardener Samantha LeGrand shows us what’s growing just on the perimeter of the Burlington Food Bank plots. Just look at the growth here and the variety using every inch of space and taking advantage of the fence for the climbers! She has included purple cabbages, cucumbers, broccoli, hot peppers, chives, strawberries, potatoes, and a great wall of tomatoes. What an amazing job she and all her volunteers are doing for us all! Thanks Sam – always a pleasure to see the amazing work you do. Please contact Sam at garden@burlingtonfoodbank.ca if you are interested in helping out over the summer.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help, PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you are a resident in Burlington, we are all here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
