Wow! Thank you to the golf members at Rattlesnake Golf & Country Club for raising money again this year for a number of charities in Halton. They managed to raise about $100,000 for 13 agencies, the Burlington Food Bank being one of them. Your support is needed and appreciated so much especially now and we can’t thank you enough for including us in your event.

An extended heat warning has been issued by Halton Region for Aug. 11-13, 2021. When a heat warning is issued, residents can stay cool at all open Burlington Public Library branches. Heat warnings are issued by Halton Region when temperatures are expected to be at least 31°C and overnight temperatures are above 20°C for at least 3 days or humidex is at least 40 for at least 2 days. Cooling Centres are open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the heat warning. Please take extra care and check on neighbours and friends.
