We are still very busy taking care of our clients. The number of deliveries has remained high and consistent this summer versus last summer where we noticed a slight dip from the earliest times of the pandemic. Thanks to Burlington residents for your continued support helping us with food donations at the grocery stores and food drives.  We’ve had to  purchase a lot more food than usual, but with the financial help we receive from donors, we have been able to support clients without any drop in what is offered to those that use the Food Bank. Burlington is such a great community to live in. Please don’t let your guard down as the new wave approaches. Remember to wash your hands and sanitize often, wear masks in crowds and remember social distancing helps. There’s really not a lot we can do other than these simple health safety protocols. Stay safe everyone!

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help, PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you are a resident in Burlington, we are all here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
