We’d like to thank everyone in Burlington that participated in a food drive or donated to a Burlington charity during 2020. When the City declared a state of emergency back in March we remained open to help people in our City with their food supplies and never closed our doors. Many of our more senior volunteers remained at home and we put out a call for new volunteers and the City came through for us. Now as we face a new month-long complete lock-down, we want to assure everyone in the City of Burlington that we will remain open and help as needed. You have helped us out in so many ways during the pandemic and have kept us in a solid position to do what we do. We will continue to report daily throughout the lock-down to keep everyone aware of any change in our number of families served and any other relevant food security news. We’d like to thank the Post, Gazette, CHCH and YourTV for putting up with our daily news messages and for letting people know we are still here to offer food support.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you live in Burlington, we are here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
