We are so thankful for all of our volunteers at The Burlington Food Bank; InnoFoods a Canadian company based in Coquitlam BC is helping us say thanks to our current volunteers through their Volunteer Gratitude Boxes we received yesterday. We are grateful to be one of the 10 food banks chosen to receive these Gratitude Boxes and a food donation from Innofoods. The comment card on the volunteer gratitude gift box reads… Take a night at home to yourself. You’ve earned it. Thank you for your continued service to the food bank and to your community through the challenges of covid-19. We know the decision to maintain your commitment may not have been taken lightly, so we wanted to provide you with a gesture of gratitude. Our sentiments exactly! They have also donated some of their delicious snack products for our clients. #coconutclusters.

The schools here in Burlington have found creative ways to still support the many families that need our assistance and one of the examples of this was seen last night as many families from JT Tuck came by to drop off donations. We are receiving great support from both Public and Catholic Schools, keep up the great work! Our young hockey players (and a soccer player) stopped by again last night to add a further 70 lbs of food donations bringing their grand total to 1,217 lbs! These boys just keep amazing us all – very proud that you are part of our great City!
