Thank you to everyone that purchased a vegetable basket from Ryan’s Market Gardens in the Spring. Ryan than made sure space and seed was set aside and used to grow crops for the Burlington Food Bank. $25 worth of fresh-picked, chemical-free vegetables were grown specifically for us priced at only $20. Ryan’s then cared for these crops until they were ready to be harvested and delivered. We are so thrilled about this initiative and we keep receiving the harvest each week. We also wanted to remind everyone about the Tim Hortons Camp Day tomorrow — On July 21st, Tim Hortons restaurant owners donate 100% of the proceeds from hot and iced coffee sales. Those funds send youth from our community to Tims Camps to learn new skills and grow through a multi-year, leadership development program. Please support this amazing initiative!
