We want to point out that this pandemic has been difficult for everyone! We are seeing small businesses struggle and the government at all levels are trying their best to help them out but times are tough for them. While all of this is going on there are many small businesses that are still HELPING US out with events. We hope that working with us and running their creative events helps them out in any possible way as much as it does for us. When the going gets tough these entrepreneurs get creative and while they need your support they are thinking of the whole community! So proud of and thankful for Burlington business! If you are thinking of doing something similar please contact us and pass along your flyer or poster so we can help promote the food drive with you.

Just a reminder to our clients that if you arrange for food delivery to make sure that someone is home to receive. We’ve had a few incidents where no one was there when our driver arrived. We want to make sure it gets to you and that it stays fresh. For those that want to receive food on Mondays it is best to call us Friday morning to give us time to arrange everything. We’ve seen a drop in Monday deliveries because Diane is finally taking weekends off and not following up on requests made on Saturdays or Sundays. If you are working and unable to be home for a morning delivery we also have a Thursday night option for delivery and pickup if that is better for you, just be sure to request this option no matter which day you call or email us.  To make a request  you can email info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 and leave a message if we are not able to answer your call.
