Today we received a donation from someone who was a previous client of ours while they were unemployed at the beginning of the pandemic. They wanted to give back and say thanks to people in Burlington for making donations and supporting the food bank which helped them out when they needed it.

Reminder that the Burlington Food Bank is closed Good Friday (April 2) and on Easter Monday (April 5). This gives our volunteers and staff a much-needed, well-deserved break. The most important thing though is for our clients to contact us by Wednesday March 31 so that we are able to get support out to you. If you don’t require support over the weekend then you can contact us as usual on Tuesday following the easter break. All of our hampers contain the usual healthy, nutritious food items such as fresh produce, milk, eggs, bread, protein and non perishables as well as any special items discussed when you contact us.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you are a resident in Burlington, we are all here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
