Normally these shelves would be stocked up and ready for the next day but due to higher demand and less opportunities for the community to hold food drives, our cupboards are low. This is normal to have a lull in donations at this time of the year but due to the pandemic, schools and churches haven’t been operating as they would normally and that’s usually where we get most of our donated food. Karina dropped in today with four (very heavy) bags of food (from the top ten list of most needed items) off the website. Anything and everything helps. Thank you so much for helping us today Karina!

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help, PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you are a resident in Burlington, we are all here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
