We would like to thank YourTV Halton for their ongoing community support and more specifically in helping us spread the word in Burlington about food security and how to help or receive assistance if needed. Thanks as well to MPP Jane McKenna and all of her staff as they are running a month long public food drive at their office (472 Brock Ave). Thank you to Eva and her mom and the Burlington Acquatic Devilrays. They brought in 3 bins totaling 877 lbs of food this morning! (BAD) is a year round competitive swim team, offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for youth. We also want to thank our Veterans and current Armed Forces personnel as we approach Remembrance Day, wear a poppy as one small way of recognizing the incredible sacrifice so many people have made for us to be part of such an incredible country, thank you once again for your service!

Print off one of the poppy posters from Councillor Lisa Kearns website https://www.lisakearnsward2.com/blog/2020/10/30/we-remember-display-a-poppy to show your support and thanks.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you live in Burlington, we are here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
