As part of Hunger Action Month at Feed Ontario, this week as members we are focusing on volunteers. A big part of volunteering we get from our corporate partners. Businesses connect with us, they come in and help us sort food, stock shelves for an afternoon. With the covid crisis this has completely stopped. Many of them have been coming up with creative ways to help out such as cash and/or food drives. We appreciate this support especially at this time.

Big news for us – The Burlington Food Bank has now officially brought the Burlington Salvation Army Family Services on board to work together as an agency of our network. What this really means is that we will receive a lot more food through Feed Ontario thanks to our partnership and we will be able to increase our distribution within our city. The Salvation Army are located in East Burlington and our Food Bank is located in West Burlington.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or they can also pick it up. If you live in Burlington, we are here to help.
