We would like to thank Karina Gould’s office for helping us out with the Canada Summer Jobs program which really helped during the summer with Sam Zulian being added to our team.  We’re looking forward to bringing on another full-time student this coming summer through the same initiative. One of the great things we’ve seen is the support from the City of Burlington. The City Councillors have stepped up to support this community and they’ve joined efforts to kick off One Burlington which includes a food drive from Feb 6 to Feb 13. Each Councillor is helping to promote the event through their social media channels. Special thanks as well to Mayor Marianne Meed Ward for including us on the Mayors Task Force for Covid-19 as we help plan together as a team to help the community deal with this pandemic. We should all be very PROUD and thankful for the great work of our Mayor and Councillors. Government at all levels have helped us out here in Burlington steering us though this covid nightmare.

If you are in need or know of someone who could use our help PLEASE have them email us at info@burlingtonfoodbank.ca or call 905-637-2273 to make arrangements to have food dropped at their door or make arrangements to pick it up through our curb-side pickup option. If you live in Burlington, we are here to help. Don’t struggle – give us a call.
