Mary Gowan, Vice-Chair
Mary Gowan, a retired schoolteacher, began her involvement with the Burlington Food Bank, as a volunteer, 10 years ago. She has been on the board for the last five years in the role of Vice-chair and Chair. She presently is Vice-Chair of the Food Bank.
Mary is involved with writing grants for the food bank, fundraising and speaking publicly on behalf of the Food Bank.
She was also chair of Assumption High School Parent Council, a volunteer at the Good Shepherd ( Hamilton) and is actively involved in St. Patrick’s Parish.
